Drive Internet Sales direct from the PMS.
A hotel's inventory and rates are always managed at the local hotel level. This means in the Property Management System (PMS). Before a hotel publishes rates and inventory to the Internet Sales Channels they always rely on the PMS system data to decide how many rooms and which rates will be published.
At Planet wInner we understand that this is a crucial process to optimise Internet sales and ultimately optimise and increase revenue. The wInner Webhotel system offers Integration possibilities with the PMS system whereby this process is managed directly from the PMS system. In the PMS system hotels can set the inventory, rates and rules and have these published automatically to the hotel's website as well as to the various Internet Distribution Channels in use.
Automated process saves lots of time.
Since managing rates and inventory for Internet sales is done from the PMS, there is no need to log into any Internet Channel or third party Channel Manager product. Changes to rules, inventory or rates are automatically synchronised with the Internet Channels. Reservations made via any channel are integrated into the PMS in realtime ensuring that the PMS inventory is always up to date. Hotels can rely on the PMS inventory to be the one and only Inventory Image that provides a complete and correct view of the hotel's occupancy. No more worries about pending reservations that have to be processed, or updates that need to be carried out before knowing the exact occupancy situation.
No need to explain that this process saves an important amount of time that your staff would spend on cumbersome updating processes in order to get correct information.
Automatic Yield Management.
Planet wInner takes the PMS integration to higher levels than any other solution on the market today. We can even automate yield management whereby the hotel's occupancy drives the rates at which rooms are sold. You simply define the rules in the PMS system; for example varying rate levels depending on the hotel's occupancy. The rest is done automatically.
Any reservation made, be it in the local PMS system or via any channel or CRS connected will change the occupancy level. The changes in Occupancy can trigger changes in rates that are sensitive to the hotel's occupancy. Using this process a fully automated mechanism can be configured where the hotel can rely on automated rate and revenue optimisation.
Imagine the time you can save !
